DramaWerkz Youth Theatre
Age Group: 13-25

A fully hands-on performing arts program for participants to create, develop and rehearse both original and published plays for performance.
This program is ideal for students with previous drama experience and runs in semester blocks. Registrations for Semester 1 2021 will open in December.

Where: Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre
When: Saturdays 11am-1pm

Private Lessons

From Trinity College Drama and Speech Exams to VCE Theatre Studies to competitions or shows, private lessons can prepare you for upcoming events in a personalised, one on one environment.

Where: Your Home
When: Saturdays 1:30pm – 8pm, Sundays 10am-8pm
Cost: $30 per half hour, $50 per hour

School Incursions/Workshops

Interested in teaching Shakespeare practically for your English classroom? Or perhaps you want to build teamwork and presentational skills with your students? Dramawerkz offers classes for children aged between 9 and 18 that are specialised for school groups.

Workshops include:
‘What’s in a Story? Fractured Fairytales’: Narrative Skills Workshop – 60 minutes
Ideal for Ages 9-13
Shakespeare for the English Classroom‘ – 60-90 minutes
Ideal for Ages 11-18
‘Behind the Curtain’: An Introduction to Theatre – 60 minutes
Ideal for Ages 9-13
Intro to Adaptation‘ – 90 minutes
Ideal for Age 15+

Cancellations

Group Lessons
Fees paid are FULLY refunded if cancellation occurs at least two weeks prior to commencement of term, less credit card fees if paid by credit card.
Cancellations less than two weeks prior to commencement of term will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to two lessons. 
There are no refunds given after term commences. However in extenuating circumstances management may authorise a refund.

Private Lessons
If a student cannot attend a lesson, a make up lesson can be arranged at another time suitable to the student and instructor, but only if the instructor is informed at least one week before the original lesson date. If no time is suitable for a make up lesson, the lesson fee will be fully refunded.
Cancellations occurring less than a week prior to the lesson will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to half a lesson.
There are no refunds given if cancellation occurs on the day of the lesson. However in extenuating circumstances management may authorise a refund.
