I think it’s safe to say that 2020 has not gone as anyone had planned. In February, Dramawerkz students were busy creating and rehearsing ‘Lyre Bird’: a brand new show that was to premiere at Stratford Shakespeare on the River festival in April.
Then… well… I think we all remember April.
Nevertheless, we’ve continued our work on ‘Lyre Bird’ while we’ve been online. We’ve been working hard and so far, the results have been pretty awesome. We can’t wait to share this show with you. Here’s a sneak peak of our efforts: a video of our opening number.
